Extension to cover medical expenses incurred for hospitalization treatment of covid-19 within 14 days upon arrival in Singapore

Eligibility

Workers holding in-principal approval (IPA), valid work permit or S Pass issued by Ministry of Manpower (MOM)

Activation of Cover

The extension including FWMI policy must be purchased before the worker arrive in Singapore

Coverage

Extend to cover medical expenses incurred for hospitalization treatment of covid-19 in Singapore Government/Restructured Hospital only and is up to S$15,000/-, provided the worker is diagnosed with covid-19 within 14 days upon arrival in Singapore.  The cover cease automatically if the worker it not diagnosed with covid-19 within 14 days after the date of arrival in Singapore.

Exclusion

The extension does not cover the cost incurred for the stay-home-notice (SHN)/quarantine or the mandatory swab test for covid-19
